The warning signs:
- Cutting personal attacks have replaced communication
- There’s been a breach of trust
- There is limited physical contact
- There is constant arguing or – literally – fighting
- No sharing is taking place
- The relationship takes a back seat to other relationships or priorities
- There’s no friendship or involvement anymore
- There is no empathy or compassion
- They are past caring about improving things
